New Year
Happy new year to everyone.
I know I'm a bit late but yay now I have all my exams done for this semester and last friday was my birthday so I'm 21 now.
It's a great feeling that I can relax for a while now. Well I'm working at the moment, but it's not the same than studying. When I'm at home now I don't have to think about learning and my exams all the time. So I'm enjoying my "holidays" and drinking a cup of chocolate. And I'm wishing you all a good night.

Rose Red - Update
Hey guys.
I re-did the hair in my photomanipulation Rose Red. I finally found my tablet again which I bought several years ago but never really used. Just because I didn't understand how to make the pen pressure work. Shame on me.
So I'm a total beginner now, but I want to learn digital painting. :aww:
Do you guys know any really good "Digital Painting"-Tutorials?
So the hair is now fully painted by me. I'm trying to get better!

And the before and after:

It's possible that I'll change more things in this manip soon. Trying out different things. Maybe I'll paint some feathers?
Good night
xoxo

That sounds really interesting, which sounds like I'll have to add it to my list. Which is already getting quite a bit lengthy. But that's ok, coz it sounds like all the books haven't been released yet, so I should wait anyhow.
And you've asked the magic question! What are my favourite books? Let me enlighten you. *bookworm*
My favourite books would have to be The Witches of Eileannan and Rhiannon's Ride, by Kate Forsyth - that's nine books altogether, and I was lucky enough to have picked up the first series after all the [6] books had been released. Rhiannon's ride is set in the same world, but is a later story, and I made sure I waited til those three books were released before I started reading them.
The Obernewtyn Chronicles, by Isobelle Carmody are also amazing books. 6 of the 7 (I think) books have been released so far, but she's promising to release the 7th book sometime next year! They're about a recovering world (I think it's meant to be our Earth) after what sounds like nuclear warfare, but there are these people called 'misfits' who have talents, and a religious, power-hungry faction called Herders who are trying to destroy misfits, and there's a struggle to prevent a recurrence of whatever happened (we don't know exactly just yet) because if it does all life will be dsetroyed. But the story is more interesting than just that. I don't like giving things away
And I also love The Circle of Nine Trilogy, by Josephine Pennicott. It actually gave me nightmares, but I'm just a scaredy cat. Hehe. It's a dark fantasy, about a world that is kinda linked to our own world.
I might be just a tad overzealous about books and reading.
